The International Union for Health Promotion and Education (IUHPE) has announced a series of design and navigation improvements to its website.
The changes to the website are aimed at providing users with faster navigation and easier access to information about the health promotion activities of IUHPE members across the world.
French and Spanish versions of the website are in progress and will come online soon.
To view the new-look website, please visit the IUHPE homepage at http://www.iuhpe.org
Special edition of IUHPE journal focuses on health equity
Also available via the new website is a special edition of the IUHPE journal, Global Health Promotion, which contains the speeches made at the London Conference ‘Closing the Gap in a Generation: Health Equity through Action on the Social Determinants of Health’.
Here you can read about the ideas and themes discussed at the first major international event to focus on the recommendations made in the WHO Commission on Social Determinants of Health Report. This supplement is a substantial contribution to accelerate the momentum of the international community’s commitment to prioritise health inequalities on the global agenda.
