The conference « Towards a genuine 7th environmental action programme” is organized by Brussels Environment in the context of the Belgian EU Presidency.This conference aims to stimulate thorough and participative preparation of the successor to the 6th Environmental Action Programme (EAP).
Based on an in-depth evaluation of the 6th Environmental Action Programme (EAP) and its thematic strategies, this initiative will stress the desire of the incoming Belgian Presidency of the European Union to improve environmental governance at the European Union level, including design, follow-up and implementation of the European environmental policy.
