Global Forum on Urbanization and Health

WHO Kobe Centre is holding a Global Forum bringing together municipal leaders, national authorities and key stakeholders across multiple sectors with the aim of promoting intersectoral actions to achieve health and health equity in urban settings. It is intended to be a summary of the progress made throughout 2010 culminating in an endorsed declaration for action.The principles underlying the policy commitment and its framework will serve as the basis to promote a global urban health equity initiative, thereby placing health at the core of all urban policies.
The official website of the Forum including registration page and provisional agenda will be launched in June.
