This year, Careum will emphasize the role of patients. The Careum Congress 2010 will not just focus on patient-oriented and patient-centred approaches. For the first time, Careum will turn its attention to activities and offerings, which can help patients to play a decisive part in shaping the healthcare system of the future. Among the topics of discussion will be the active and proactive role of patients in developing innovations in healthcare through online consultations and information exchange via internet, as well as through the development of new care services.
