Euroscience Open Forum (ESOF) is a biennial pan-European meeting dedicated to scientific research and innovation and their impact on society.ESOF brings together leading scientists, researchers, young researchers, business people, entrepreneurs and innovators, policy makers, science and technology communicators and the general public to discuss the frontiers of scientific and technological research in Europe. It aims to contribute to the development of a European Scientific Identity whilst bridging the gap between science and society, and to stimulate policies to support scientific research. One of the key objectives of ESOF 2010 is also to provide career openings and targeted programmes for postgraduates and young researchers.
