11th EHC Round Table of Stakeholders: Patient Safety and Haemophilia Care - How to optimize access to safe medicines and treatment, creating the value of patient safety between stakeholders

The European Haemophilia Consortium (EHC) forthcoming Roundtable will give the opportunity to discuss the issue of patient safety for Haemophilia patients, and will in particular address the issue of access to safe medicines and treatment.Patient safety is a very broad issue and one of the key drivers of the European health legislation, in this context the participants will discuss how patient organizations can stimulate safety debate on products manufactured from plasma, how industry manages product and patient safety challenges, and how the latest legislation including monitoring and reporting of adverse effects of medicines (pharmacovigilance) may influence patient safety culture in Europe.
