Public health perspectives in Central and Southeastern Europe in XXI century

Despite public health is extremely important part of the society, its importance was neglected in many countries in the region in the recent past. During integration process to European Union, candidate states have reformed their health systems, with the key role of public health in it.

The goal of the conference is presentation of different experiences in building public health capacities in Central and Southeastern European countries and public health priorities in XXI century.

The conference is intended for public health experts from Central and Southeastern European countries. The conference is organized by Center for Education, Tolerance, and Multiculturalism, in collaboration with University of Iowa. The conference should take place in Novi Sad in November 3-4, 2010.
